Saccurato Retains Title! 

On Friday night November 13th in Edmonton Alberta, KO Boxing Promotions held “Redeption” at the Shaw Conference Centre.  The main event of the evening was for the WBC World Lightweight Championship.  Champion Anne-Marie Saccurato from New York put her title on the line against the challenger Edmonton’s Jelena Mrdjenovich.   The card was titled “Redemption” because in 2006 Saccurato won a split decision over Mrdjenovich.  Tonight the ladies left it all in the ring; both boxers came to win the title and walk away with the glory.
