EDMONTON (June 2, 2011) – Carl Froch is the heavy favorite to defeat Glen Johnson Saturday in Atlantic City livein Canada only on Super Channel courtesy of SHOWTIME® at 9p.m. ET but Super Six World Boxing Classic Finalist Andre Ward believes there’s a decent chance that “The Road Warrior” can upset “The Cobra” to claim the WBC Super Middleweight title and advance to the tournament Final.

CPBC Press Release: This past weekend, May 27-28, George Chuvalo was in Moncton, New Brunswick, to discuss the dangers of drug and substance abuse. The event was promoted by Eloquent One Promotions and was kicked off with a meet and greet at the Sports Rock Bar and Restaurant in Dieppe on May 27. George shook hands, chatted with admirers and signed autographs for an hour before dinner was served at 6:30 pm. Montreal, Wednesday June 1st 2011 – TVA Group’s new specialty channel, TVA Sports, will start broadcasting throughout Quebec at the beginning of the fall 2011 season and InterBox will be a big part of it. Pierre-Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor and Quebecor Media, and Pierre Dion, President and CEO of TVA Group, officially announced the launch this morning, surrounded by sports executives, athletes and some of the prestigious channel’s future personalities. Mr. Péladeau wore an “IBF Champion” cap during the press conference that was signed for him by Lucian Bute the night Lucian won the IBF World title (October 19th 2007).
