Boxing Legend George Chuvalo To Make Annual Visit To Free Summer Camp

Heron Sisters Celebrate 10th Successful Camp Year

(Monday July 25, 2001)  MISSISSAUGA, ON – Former Canadian Heavyweight champion, who has never been off his feet both in and out of the boxing Ring, will be making his annual visit to HUF GYM Thursday July 28th, at 2pm. The annual camp will be celebrating 10 years and closing with a free BBQ and live amateur boxing card, sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.

Children have been attending Monday-Thursday from 1pm-4pm since July 4th and participating in various activities including Boxing, Soccer, Basketball, Fight Night video game, and Lots of fun!

Sister’s Teresa and Olga know it’s important to instil good habits at an early age.

TROY ROSS INKS WITH GREG LEON!

 PRESS RELEASE: World class cruiserweight contender Troy “The Boss” Ross has inked an advisory deal with Greg Leon. Ross, the former IBF title challenger is currently the IBF’s leading available contender and also a promotional free agent.  . “Troy Ross is among the very best cruiserweights in the world. It’s my job to get him a rematch with Cunningham or a title fight against one of the other champions and that is what I will work tirelessly to accomplish,” said Leon.   Ross, 24-2 (16KO), had this to say, “Greg comes highly reccomended and I’m pleased to have him working on my behalf. This feels right. The two of us have been talking about doing business for months, but now the time was right and now it’s official. I know how important my next fights are and I plan on bringing my fans and the rest of the boxing world with me on a special championship run.”
