Friday Night Fights- BREAKING GROUND

 (Moncton, New Brunswick November 14, 2011) The Father and son team of Ulysse & Mike Doiron are at it again. After a very successful promotional debut at Casino NB, the duo is wasting no time getting back into action in the ring at this state of the art venue. Victory Boxing Promotions in association with Jensen Strauss Boxing Ltd. and Casino NB will present an 8 bout professional boxing card. The main event of the evening will be contested for the vacant NABA Canadian Middleweight Championship. This championship bout will feature 2 of Canada’s top stars in this weight division. Both of these fighters are coming off a bit of a layoff from the sport, but make no mistake about the talent level of these two incredible athletes. Stephan Boyd from Toronto, ON boasts a record of 10-3-1, while NB born Paul Clavette now fighting out of Montreal, QC sits at 13-2-1. These 2 fighters have already met in a professional ring with Clavette coming away with a 6 round split decision win. Both fighters have some added pressure in this fight, as well as some extra motivation to bring home the gold. One-on-One With Sebastien Gauthier

 Sebastien Gauthier is a young and dynamic boxer from Saint-Jerome, Québec. Motivation, hard work and determination is a big part of this rising stars life.  On November 5th 2011, Gauthier impressed boxing fans and experts with an inspired performance against former two time IBF Super Bantamweight champion Steve Molitor.  In this marvellous contest between the two pugilists, Gauthier lost the fight by split decision.  In fact, it was a very close fight that could have gone either way.  Nevertheless, the fearless warrior promise that he would be a champion in a near future.

On this day, Gauthier agreed to talk to us about is amateur days, his pro-career and his exciting fight against “The Canadian Kid” Steve Molitor.
