The fight went the full twelve, with Bute handling the former Showtime Super Six contender with ease. Next, we have the controversial Steve Molitor (33-2-0) versus Sebastian Gauthier (21-2-0), ten round, super bantamweight slugfest. Molitor took a split decision, throwing and landing the crisper, more accurate punches. Gauthier, however, was the more aggressive fighter, staying on Molitor the whole fight, landing some good shots in the process. The knockout of the night came in Peir Olivier Cote’s (17-0-0) victory over Jorge Luis Teron (25-2-1), for the IBF intercontinental light welterweight crown. Cote needed less than two rounds to close the fight, dropping Teron twice in the second on his way to a KO victory.

Showtime Super Six alumnus Allan “Ghost Dog” Green (30-3-0) thoroughly outpointed Sebastien “Double Trouble” Demers (31-4-0) in a light heavyweight ten rounder, putting himself back in the race for a title shot. The judges had this one unanimously in favour of Green 100-90, 98-92, 97-93.

Super prospect Kevin Bizier (15-0-0) continued his impressive undefeated professional career, defeating former European welterweight champion Christian Bladt (38-12-2) of Denmark in less than three rounds. An impressive win for an impressive prospect, worthy of a second look!

    Would love to see Bute fight Froch and pound the living S–t out of him. Never liked Froch. Always thought he was to full of himself.
