When I started my pro Career in 2004, my goal was to be my country’s champion. I’ve had three cracks at it now. I was close in the first one, suffered broken ribs in the second and under estimated my opponent in the third! KO Promotions told me if I fight Jason Delarond, who is 12-0, and win, my next fight will be Canadian title shot number four! This is the one I take home to hang on my wall! So, there’s only one thing in my way! Professional Boxing is a Business.”If it makes dollars, it makes sense.” Jason Delarond and I would put on a hell of a show in an eight or ten round fight! Let’s do this! For the City of Champions! Rogers SportsNet West TV! Will you take the fight Delaronde? March 23rd, Shaw Conference Center, at any catch weight. Its not personal, its boxing
TORONTO (November 28, 2011) – Buxton Promotions and Hennessy Sports announced today that they are now co-promoting unbeaten Canadian light middleweight prospect Brandon “Bad Boy” Cook.
The 25-year-old Cook (4-0, 2 KOs), fighting out of Ajax, Ontario, is a very popular prizefighter who made his pro debut last February, taking a four-round decision from Francis Lafreniere. Three wins have followed, including a devastating first-round knockout of Jason Bernava last Friday night in New Brunswick.
“Brandon’s certainly not afraid to mix it up,” 29-year-old Tyler Buxton (Buxton Promotions) noted. “He’s a boxer-puncher with an aggressive style that’s helped him become one of the biggest ticket sellers in Greater Toronto.
“I’ve promoted him since his pro debut. We signed with Hennessy Sports in order to get Brandon more exposure and bigger fights. We’ve done shows with Hennessy Sports and know they can help us build Brandon’s fan-base, not only in Canada, but internationally as well.” Read More

Huge kudos to the CBC, for an awesome job. Well run show, small, but quaint, and comfortable venue and a somewhat short but very entertaining 9 bouts.
Paurul Ahlawat snatched Best Boxer of the night with a smartly planned battle. Ahlawat faced a hard hitting, non stop, in your face kid in Roger Redoble of the host Calgary club.
The game Redoble went after Ahlawat, from the onset attempting to pin his opponent on the ropes where he had some success in the early going firing looping but heavy shots.
