Troy “The Boss” Ross suffered a severe cut under his left eye cause by the thumb of Steve “USS” Cunningham in his first shot at a world title yesterday in Neubrandenburg, Germany. The bout was stopped 0:01 of the 5th round.

It appears that Ross’ Montreal based promoter Yvon Michel of GYM Promotions who was ringside in Germany will file an appeal with the IBF when he returns to Montreal.

Sources say Ross will undergo surgery on the eye today in Germany.

TBE:  How is training camp going?
