On June 18, 2010 in Sicilia, Italy, Canadian Phil Lo Greco captured the vacant WBC International Welterweight title by stopping Poland’s Slawomir Ziemlewicz in the ninth round.  With the victory Lo Greco improves to 20-0, 11KO’s.

Lo Greco Remains Unbeaten!

Toronto native Phil Lo Greco (19-0 10 KO’s) 149.4lbs. Kept his unbeaten record intact Saturday in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

Lo Greco won an 8 round unanimous decision over unheralded Russian born Albert Starikov (13-11-1 4KO’s) 149.9lbs. by scores of 80-70 / 79-71 and 77-74. The World Boxing Organization (WBO) had Lo Greco ranked their 15^th contender in the world heading into this bout.
