In the Main Event of the evening Canadian Heavyweight Champion Neven “No Surrender” Pajkic improved to 14-0, 5KO’s defeating Minnesota’s Raphael “The Silencer” Butler, now 35-9, 28KO’s by a hard fought ten round decision. Judges Allan Davis and Kelly Zolnierczyk scored the fight 97-93 and Harry Davis had it scored 99-91 which was very lopsided considering the action. The fight was definitely a lot closer than the judges had it scored.

Pajkic came out aggressively in the opening round and was able to land good combinations to the head and body of Butler. However about a minute in it looked as though Butler landed a short left hook that dropped Pajkic but it was ruled a slip. Pajkic landed more of the punches however Butler landed the harder punches but not often enough. Read More

On Monday July 19, 2010 at the Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ontario, Wild Card Promotions president Rick Smiciklas announced that he will be hosting a “black tie” boxing event in downtown Toronto in conjunction with the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday September 4th, 2010. The event will be headlined by Canadian Heavyweight champion Neven Pajkic and will be attended by a diverse group of celebrities. All proceeds of the event will be donated to charity. It was also announced that Wild Wing incorporated have signed exclusive sponsorship deals with IBF Junior Featherweight champion Steve “The Canadian Kid” Molitor and Canadian Heavyweight champion Neven Pajkic. In addition, it was announced that Misho Jovicevic, the manager of Neven Pajkic has also signed Steve Molitor to his management team.
